Biotie’s business is based on cooperation with international pharmaceutical companies. Biotie has signed a licensing agreement with Lundbeck on worldwide rights for nalmefene, excluding South Korea where the rights for the products have been licensed to Whanin Pharmaceuticals.
Biotie has entered into an option agreement with Roche on worldwide rights for the VAP-1 monoclonal antibody, excluding Asia Pacific. These rights have been licensed to Seikagaku Corporation.
Furthermore Biotie has a research collaboration and licence agreement with Pfizer for the discovery and the development of novel PDE 10 inhibitors.
